Rescue Center Update And The Importance Of Awareness

“You are what you do, not what you say you’ll do. ” -C.G. Jung

Today’s post is a re-blog of a post I wrote for the Kisumu Rescue Center blog. I have talked about this project before (for more info visit they Special Projects” page to the left) and felt compelled and excited to share the progress that is being made on this amazing Center. Unboxed Life is so much about the impact we make with the short life we have: our legacy. This project and many more to come in conjunction with the non-profit we started will be a large part of my legacy.

I have come to understand that things like character, feeling, connection, and our subconscious mind are what will come to define out lives when we are done living them. We must pay special attention the person that we are becoming, because our soul is in constant motion. Each and every choice we make, every action, every thought or word go into making us who we are. If we lose sight of who we are becoming we can find ourselves off the rails of the track toward our destiny.

My excitement and inspiration surrounding this project continue to humble me each day and show me that I have so much work left to be done. I hope that you enjoy the post and will continue to seek out your unique and amazing personal journey. If we are to see a world in need become all that we dream it to be we must take some kind of action, no matter how small. I hope you find a way to act in your life and see the manifestation of the potential that resides inside you.
